The GENO-mat  duo WE water softeners are designed for the softening and partial softening of drinking and service water. They work according to the ion exchange principle. Being twin systems, they are suitable for the continuous supply of soft water. There are systems available with regeneration in full salting and economy salting mode.

Only full salting systems are able to soften the water to less than 0.1 °dH (mainly required for industrial applications). The systems with economy salting are recommended for larger building complexes such as apartment buildings, hotels, etc. The soft water is blended to the desired hardness range (preferably hardness range 1) by means of a blending unit (integrated in types 50, 130, 230). The systems with economy salting are equipped with a disinfection unit as a standard feature.

The GENO-mat duo WE water softeners are volume-controlled and feature a central control valve for both exchanger tanks. The regeneration is released as soon as the set water volume in one of the exchanger tanks has been softened. The systems regenerate with soft water.

They come in 5 sizes and continuous flows from 2.0 m³/h up to 9.5 m³/h.
