The GENO®-flushing compressor type 1988 K is a mobile, electronically controlled and compact device for automatic flushing of drinking water pipes of any size according to DIN EN 806-4, part 2. Additional fields of applications are the flushing (desludging) of floor heating systems, the fight against legionellae, the disinfection of pipes, the preparation of the pipe systems for sanitation as well as the supply of compressed air.

The device offers the following four selections:

Flushing with water and air
Flushing of the pipes with a pulsing air/water mix as per DIN EN 806-4, part 2. Volume-controlled addition of compressed air in periodic pulses in order to increase the flushing efficiency. The flushing air pressure automatically adjusts to a value which exceeds the existing water pressure.

Continuous air blast
To increase the cleaning effect, e. g. in case drinking water pipes need to be flushed for sanitation purposes or the floor heating systems is to be flushed.

Flushing and disinfection
Fight against legionellae and disinfection of pipes by means of a water/disinfectant mix. The disinfectant (e. g. chlorine) is added by means of a GENODOS-dosing system type DM-SK which is specifically adapted to the flushing compressor. Flow-controlled dosing by the flushing compressor.

Supply of compressed air
Application as standard compressed air supply. The flushing compressor features a standard connection for compressed air – including quick-acting coupling – which is independent of the flushing unit.
