The KICKER® backwash filter is designed for the filtration of drinking and industrial water and protects water pipes and connected water carrying systems from solid particles, rust and impurities.

The filter is made of high-strength special plastic, can be backwashed manually and features a stainless steel filter element. The ergonomically shaped single lever turning handle and the special backwash valve ensure the easy release of the backwash process, even in case of high water pressure. The valve is equipped with a so-called „dead man’s control“, i. e. it closes automatically. Thanks to the use of two ceramic discs which are stacked one upon the other, wear and tear is minimal. During the backwash process, the filter element is cleaned very intensively and effectively by means of a special jet. Thanks to this further advanced backwash technology, the water consumption per backwash could be decreased considerably and was reduced to a minimum (refer to product data sheet). 
 
For maintenance purposes, the filter cylinder can be removed by hand - a tool is not required.

By means of the splash water safe drain connection (according to DIN EN 1717), the KICKER® backwash filter can easily be connected to the drain pipe.
